For some reason when I first read it, I thought "DK" was short for Dunkin Donuts (and I held you in lower esteem for thinking it's so great). I'll have to check out DK. I also want to check out Donut Snob and Donut Friend, both of which are nearby and make super fancy donuts (which, unfortunately, are about $5 a pop).
Also, everyone is welcome -- I think this is the first new two-page thread in like... one million years.
DK's only $1-2 for a dounut.. it's not that fancy, but still good. They have cronuts though, but I've never tried them. I should though. I've been on a donut kick lately.
I did try Dunkin Donuts for the first time. I had all the different munchkins. I didn't like them..
I have, and it's incredibly good. I've been working my way through the 10 best tacos places in LA, according to LA Weekly, and I've yet to be disappointed. So far, I've been to:
Mariscos Jalisco
Ricky's Fish Tacos
Guerrilla Tacos
Mexicali Taco & Co
By the end of the month, I hope to get to Tacos Leo and Carnitas El Momo. I'm serious about tacos, dude. Or at least, I am now.
My favorite places for street tacos here are Los Taquitos and Yaqui's, which is right next to a gay club (that's run by the same people) so everyone calls it Gay Tacos, which confused my girlfriend the first time she heard it. "What the fuck is a gay taco?"
BRB GOING TO GET $1 CARNE ASADA TACOS

Just some hole in the wall. I went on yelp looking for tacos and literally every place has decent ratings. You can get the same or better stuff in your neighborhood.
King Taco though... I don't get it. It's not good.
Awkward, I was in Bell Gardens today doing a stop on my gran tour du taco, which apparently is close to Downey (according to the freeway exits). Have you been to El Coraloense? They make very good fried shrimp tacos. In fact, everything there looked good. I recommend.
Why were you in Bell Gardens.. I am not going to Bell Gardens.
I don't go to Downey often. I live closer to Lakewood & Cerritos. But I didn't mention that because I didn't think you'd know where it was anyway. More suburban, less ghetto. Still a tiny bit ghetto.
Also, I'm tired of tacos. I just can't consume that many tacos, Jasno. I like Asian food, but Moris doesn't like it. I just want Korean BBQ or Pho god damnit.

A friend took us to US Taco Co. and it was very meh. Then I found out it was the restaurant that Taco Bell opened as their "real" and "high-end" restaurant. It's not good.
