I think saving Hank's death for the opening of this episode was the way to go.
Also I have a hard time rationalizing that the neo Nazis leave Walt alive AND with 11 million dollars. I guess Jack's explanation was good enough, whatever.

I thought the last episode glorified Walt way more than he deserved, which was surprising given the show's primary story arc of Walt's descent into evil. I think my disappointment stems partly from my guilt in liking Walt as much as I do despite all of the horrible, horrible things he did. I hated how satisfying the finale was.
I'm not sure exactly how it glorified or redeemed any of Walt's choices? His final scheme worked out, but it had to go that way. What alternative was there? His plan fails, the Nazis and Todd get away with it and Jesse has to be their slave forever and ever? I thought it was a great ending, and I think it'll grow on people who were somewhat disappointed with it.
Also this song would've also been great to end the show.
