Because it is inoffensive and everyone.. has weather.

 

It is a "sunny" 64°F here.  I should be grateful for this lovely weather..

It's cold here, but at least not below freezing.

I'm going up to the mountains for Christmas, and it will be in the 0-20 degree range most of the time.

I love my home town. Of course, I thought it was boring when I was a teenager, and too cool for school. Now I look forward to visiting.

Good for you. That place looks nice.

My hometown is actually worse in my mind now. I thought it was boring and oppressive before. Now I think it is a suffocating, intolerant, utterly unattractive wasteland, and I dread every moment I am forced to return there.
