It made sense that Bane would explain his plan to Batman when he was crippled, but it didn't make sense to me that whatsherface-from-Inception would go on about her biography while holding a knife in Batman's side. That felt a little cliche Bond-villainy.
That french ho is always fucking up shit for people in Nolan's movies.

And while I enjoyed Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow cameo, that scene just made me sad about Heath Ledger all over again, because I thought about how awesome it would have been to have the Joker in his place.
I'm not saying this about you, but I've heard people bitching about the lack of acknowledgement about the Joker and it's got to be the dumbest complaing ever. The actor is dead, how are they supposed to include him in any way? Fire up the old time machine and film some scenes with him? Perhaps make some Heath Ledger clones?
One friend of mine said something like "Well they should have at least mentioned him" Why? What difference does it make? The movie has nothing to do with The Joker. And honestly it would feel totally weird if they did try to update us on him. "Oh yeah and by the way the Joker's still in prison or escaped or something, but he's still DEFINITELY knocking about, just don't expect to see him. ANYWAYS BACK TO WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE STORY, MR. WAYNE..."

Like I said, that scene just reminded me that Heath Ledger is dead, and bummed me out. But being someone who lives in reality, I know it would be stupid to try and include the character in the movie in any way. They could just mention him, which would be pointless, or they could...what? Throw in some deleted scenes from The Dark Knight and awkwardly edit around them so they (sort of...maybe...if you squint a little) fit in with the rest of the movie?
