Originally Walt was just supposed to straight up murder Jane. The original draft had him giving her an extra dose of heroin. A revised script had him push her onto her back so she would choke. When they finally did the scene, it was just him watching and not doing anything.
It's more a comment on what a ****ty situation Walt had put himself in at that point. When the most logical course of action is to let a young girl choke to death on her vomit, you've fallen pretty far as a human being. And Jesse still has every reasaon to hate him for it if he ever finds out.
Agreeificationerism.
That's the point, every horrible decision Walt has had to make is completely on him. Sure, letting Jane die was probably the best option he had, but it's entirely his own fault that he has to make that choice in the first place.
SO HERE ARE MY IMPORTANT THOUGHTS AND PREDICTIONS ON SEASON 5:
Eventually Hank will find out about Walt. YOU CAN TAKE THAT ONE TO THE BANK. There's just no way that can't happen.
We didn't see how Walt actually managed to poison Brock, only what he used to do it. But I imagine we will, that seems like too big of a plot point to just leave a mystery, and depending on how it was done, that could possibly leave Brock as something of a loose end when he wakes up. DUN DUN DUN.
Won't Jesse start to ask "So what the hell actually happened to my ricin cigarette?" Which leads to my next thought...
I hope it's Jesse that kills off Walt. Somehow he has to find out about Jane and/or Brock, and THERE'S GONNA BE CONSEQUENCES. I hope he realizes just how completely Walt has destroyed his entire life.
SO THAT'S WHAT I THINK.
Also, Moris, this show doesn't take place in Arizona. That would be kewl if it did though.

Something tells me Jesse already suspects Walt, in the way they talked to each other, the aggressive handshake, but acknowledging that Gus had to die. Granted Jesse is not exactly bright, but it's pretty obvious that something was afoot. I can't imagine him killing Walt, but it seems like that where the series iheaded. Jesse seems too good hearted deep down to kill a family man. Notice he didn't give a **** about Walt's fate and until he realized Gus threatened him and his family. I guess knowing that he's responsible for Jane's death and Brock's poisoning is enough to push him over the edge...I just don't want it to happen that way
I wouldn't call Jesse "not exactly bright." He's shown himself to be pretty perceptive and shrewd when he needs to be. It's just easy to miss because he says "yo" and "bitch" so often.
He took to that girl's son rather quickly and was outraged when those junkies left their kid alone all day without any decent TV. Knowing Walt has a son and a baby girl probably isn't enough to keep him from killing him if he finds out he watched Jane die and poisoned his girlfriend's son.
Walt had enough time to come up with a way to poison Brock without raising suspicion. He must have known Jesse would advise the doctors about the poison, so I doubt a guy like Walt would just walk up to Brock and ask him to eat the berries. He's hardly a criminal but when he has time, he has shown he can put together damn good plans.
Even though it would be fair for Jesse to find out about what Walt did, I don't think it's necessary, and Breaking Bad is everything but fair. Jane's dead and no one but Walt knows about the details, Brock was poisoned and I trust he was smarter than to hide the poison in some candy and offer it to Brock while he walked to school or something.
If Jesse finds out it'll be because of some heated exchange between the two and it'll slip, Walt has shown when he gets emotional, he gets stupid.

Exactly, and that's how I think it'll happen. He came this close to revealing how Jane died in the Fly episode.
This isn't that interesting, but I just realized that this is the second time a season has ended with a song produced by Danger Mouse. Season 1 had that Gnarls Barkley song playing at the end. NOW YOU KNOW.
