Best show on TV.

HOLA DEA!

I actually liked the first two seasons a lot more than seasons 3 and 4. The first two seasons were just amazing, captivating television, and it was consistently that way, and I felt like they actually deserved the massive hype that the show gets. I get that not every episode can have explosions and body parts falling through ceilings and all the cool shit people want, but it feels like there's a lot more filler in seasons 3 and 4, with stories that kind of meander along that I don't really care about, and there was almost none of that during the first two seasons. But I still really like this show, and it's still capable of pulling off crazy, surprising, badass shit (like the last episode), but I think the best the show ever got was during seasons 1 and 2.

Oh, he gets his hands dirty.

Gus is awesome/horrifying.

And Jesus Christ, the last act of last night's episode was probably the most intense 15 minutes of TV I've ever seen.

Things aren't going well for Walt and Co.

Basically the episode ended on a cliffhanger that, in any other show, would serve as a season finale.

But there's 2 more episodes left in the season.

This show is so intense that story arcs that would occupy entire seasons of other shows are disposed of in 3 or 4 episodes. The whole business with the Creepy Murder Twins, for example.

I just watched all of season 1 today, I regret not watching it sooner.

I think for Walt to get out of this scott free, he has to make a power play against Gus and his crew.  I think this is the most likely, but I know that the writers don't deal with most likely scenarios in this show, so now...it's not likely, BUTITIS.  He may admit to Hank what has been going on.  This is the sensible thing to do, so I doubt Walt will.  But if he does, I imagine it will lead to a conflict between them and end in Hank getting getting killed off.
I think this episode is meant to inspire that feeling of total defeat.  It feels like the end of a movie.  I thnik whatever happens will not be predictable by most.  I've heard that season 5 is supposed to be all about the rise and fall of Walter, though.  He is supposed to get some position of power, supposedly.  That goes well with killing Gus.  Also, Gus might be the bestm crime boss ever portrayed on screen.
