There's this new show on AMC called The Killing.

It's really good!

AMC is now 5 for 5 with awesome shows. I'm still mad about them canceling Rubicon, though.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. TURNS OUT THIS SHOW SUCKS. AMC IS NOW 4/5 WITH GOOD SHOWS, WHICH IS STILL A GOOD RECORD, I THINK.

It looked lame on the previews. What are its strong points?

It's just a really good murder mystery.

It looks great (it's shot really well, and makes good use of the Pacific Northwest setting), all the actors are really good, there are lots of interesting characters, and the murder mystery is suspenseful and compelling.

It will definitely hold me over until Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead come back.

You could say that it doesn't do a whole lot of new things with the genre, but that shouldn't be taken as a swipe at it. Rather than feeling cliched, it feels elemental.

EDIT: YEAH IT STILL SUCKS ASS. FORGET EVERYTHING GOOD I SAID ABOUT THIS SHOW.

It's off TV now, but yesterday my roommate and I got ****faced all day long and watched "Party Down". It feels like The Office meets Arrested Development in the work place antics and style of humor.

It's pretty good.

So this new show is airing on Comedy Central tonight, Jon Benjamin Has a Van. The guy doing it, H. Jon Benjamin, does the voice of Archer on the television show Archer, which I know at least one of you watches, and he's been on pretty much every other adult-themed cartoon, and he's funny, and I'm a fan of his work AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK I'M A NERD OR NOT.

I know you guys probably won't watch it, I'M JUST HERE TO LET YOU KNOW. IT MIGHT BE GOOD.

Just in case you were wondering about that show, The Killing.

The first couple episodes were good. Great, even.

The rest of it kind of sucked. And Sunday's season finale was a goddamn joke.

I heard that the finale was awful. But I've heard great things about that show.

I just finished season 3 of Dexter. WAY too excited for the 4th season with John Lithgow.
