This will either be awesome or terrible. SciFi (I refuse to to call it by its actual, and idiotic, name) has proven that they can make good science fiction dramas when they want to, when they're not making the 15th iteration of "Stupid Monster A vs. Stupid Monster B." But since BSG ended, and Caprica was canceled, they haven't shown much interest in making anything good.

I'm guardedly optimistic.

It's not on TV per se (though you'll probably watch it on your TV), but House of Cards, the new original series on Netflix, is shockingly good.

It would be right at home on HBO or AMC.

I just finished season 3 of Downton Abbey and googled to see when the next one will air..

Then I realized I missed an episode (the "Christmas special") and now I've ruined it for myself.
