From her IMDB bio:

"Suffered a stroke which cause a temporary paralysis and aphasia while she was still in New York University but she fully recovered."

Plus, she smiles in a ton of pictures. She just doesn't smile on the show.

I've been getting into the first season of Sons of Anarchy. It's basically a series of hour-long installments of testosterone-porn for men living with the frustration of having their gender marginalized within society.

It's about biker gangs. Manly stuff.

So, I just finished the fourth season of Sons of Anarchy, just in time for the fifth season to start.

The 4th season was really, really good....except the finale, which kind of sucked. The fifth season seems to be off to a decent start, though.

Oh, and if you're more than a couple episodes into season 1, you may have noticed that this show sometimes features some seriously terrible music. Brace yourself, because it doesn't get better.

Boardwalk Empire starts up again tonight, and Weeds has its series finale. I'm excited about both things.

But I'm most excited about Homeland coming back at the end of the month. If you haven't seen the first season of that show, do it now. It's amazing.

Spoiler: It's one of the actors from the show singing a godawful cover of House of The Rising Sun with the lyrics changed so they have more to do with the show's plot.

It's so bad. Yet it's still a really good show, overall.
