Sorry about the awkward silences. I just had to wander off and speak with some of my old friends a few times. I didn't mean to just abandon you to stand in silence.
I was VERY hurt. After all, I have no idea what it's like to be at a social event alone. I didn't mind, seeing as you're from the area I was pretty sure you were going to know other people. I should have taken you up on drinking because I got home and couldn't fall asleep for the life of me. I was just happy I didn't have to sleep on a bench, even if it did cost me 20 bucks.
Also, it's a good thing I'm a...distinct looking person, cause I certainly would not have been able to pick you out of a crowd. Were you on the floor during the Lemuria set?

It was too crowded to push forward, and they aren't the kind of band that people move around to. I just found a spot where I could see well.
I use to not like them because I used to hate the bassist on a personal level, but I'm over that now. The thing is, I saw their first show when they were still a two-peice, and I really loved it, and then they got a bit worse when they added Jay, but that was years ago.
If I were to dislike every local band whose members were dicks, I wouldn't be able to like any band from Rochester. There aren't too many to like anyway.
Like that you know more about that scene than I do, but I was speaking in terms of current existence and more specifically punk (Which there is too little of)
