I wasn't that impressed with Opposing Force, honestly. It was worth my time, but it doesn't go on my list of greats. I can say it was better than Blue Shift.

Valve needs to hurry up and get Episode 3 out.

2 years between releases isn't what I'd call "episodic content"

Last I heard, they didn't even know how they were going to progress the series. I'm thinking it's going to take a while.

I think Episode 3 is pretty well under development.

In some interview, someone at Valve said that they basically view these episodes as the third installment in the series. Whether they'll make a proper Half-Life 3 is totally unknown.

I really hope they do, unless Episode 3 is 20 hours long and wraps up every loose end.
