I finally finished the scratching post for the cats.
My fingers hurt, but it's so satisfying when you place them on it and they instantly claw away.

 

I used an exacto knife, using scissors would have been hell.

an arab knife (or box-cutter if you're one of those p.c. thugs) would have been a better option
