Any time someone brings up ethical cultural relativism, I think of stuff like this. These people are barbaric.

Also on the issue of pay taxes in general, I am glad I get paid under the table when I DO get paid. I haven't made near enough to get taxed, but I was helping my mother with her taxes today, and holy ****... She is nowhere near high income bracket. She is right around the national average. And yet, raped.

I mean, it's an easy case to make. No one in their right mind thinks this is right. Culutural relativists rarely take their own **** seriously. And when they do, they aren't worth communicating with.
Some things in culture aren't worth judging. The moral and legal values certainly are.

Not to sound like a hollywood liberal here or anything, but it's looking like time to leave this puppy for some place, preferably down under. I hear Australia rates pretty good with free marketeers, even if they have socialized medicine.
