Should I pay to see Metallica?

I assume the ticket costs for an enjoyable place (In the pit) at a Metallica concert would be quite costly.  They're playing at HSBC in November.  I would certainly like to see them at least to say I have seen them.  Trouble is they might just play a bunch of crappy new stuff.  I would pay a lot more if it was a Kill Em All/Ride The Lightning/Master of Puppets concert.

I've lost any respect I might have had for them, and I wouldn't want to support them. However, if the show is anything like their live boxed set Live Sh*t, then it will be amazing.
