I mean, message wise, it wasn't that much apart from the comic. V just came off as less anti-state in the movie. He was more of just someone who was pissed off at the current government, not someone who had philosophic grudges with the whole idea of government.
V For Vendetta sucks. It's poorly acted, the dialog is meh and the action is typical and nothing interesting (Which I didn't expect given the producers/directors)
The comic is way better. Read the comic.
Wah wah wah. I'm Deathpiggie and I don't like when other people have (real life) friends and social lives. Everyone should stay up until 4 AM reading comics and drinking Mountain Dew.
Way to address the facts, mam. It wasn't an attack on your social life, it was an attack on a movie that every person seems to think is so cool and it really isn't all that great. And November 5th is a stupid thing to celebrate. I mourned it as the day I realized Barack Obama was going to be president, personally.
My friends were excited to watch it on November 5th and I was excited that I've made them more and more skeptical of the government over the years. Plus I really like Natalie Portman.
AND. Did you miss? After the movie we got delicious appetizers and cheap drinks.
