I purchased some books, but I accidentally sent them to my alma mater and not my summer residence, so who knows when the forwarding address will kick in and they'll get here. I'd name them, but they're going to end up on the book thread anyway.

Saving up for this

It might have to wait, since my apartment may or may not be infested with bed bugs (it's an old building, and I think some of the people who live here are crazy shut-ins with filthy apartments, which would explain the problem), necessitating the purchase of a new mattress.

Just sprayed and vacuumed every corner of the room, and I sprayed the mattress and all the crevices in the bed frame. I hope that got them.

Because I haven't noticed them until recently, I'm hoping they haven't been here long, and aren't well established. Maybe I brought them back from the hotel after I took the bar.

John - there's this stuff that is eco-friendly and not poison (at least that's what the packaging claims) that keeps bugs out of a perimeter. It might be helpful if your neighbors are filthy and bugs keep coming over. You would have to move all your furniture but pretty much you spray the perimeter of your apartment completely with this stuff and it lasts for a year or two and it keeps bugs from coming in. You don't need to spray the whole apartment so it's kind of nice. Just thought I'd give you the heads up on it - I don't remember the product name though. We had to get it for work like two years ago and we haven't had a problem since.

I got this new phone. I haven't activated it yet - but I hear it's pretty cool. It was a free upgrade (plus 27 dollars tax!) and it had the best reviews and the longest battery life of all the phones I could choose. Plus it's cute!
