Yeah, I know what you mean about the dialogue. I thought the two really dialogue-heavy scenes, if taken on their own, were easily the best parts of the film, really good, tense set-pieces. But they didn't balance at all well with the rest of it, it all felt a bit botched together.
The consensus seems to be that your liking for this movie is likely to be directly proportional to your liking for Quentin Tarantino's directorial style.
Oh it's a fun film for sure, pumpkin, I'd say it probably is worth watching, but perhaps only in a way where you don't have to spend much money to see it. And don't expect any kind of cinematic masterpiece.
I'm hoping to coax my friends into seeing a matinee of this in the near future. Let's hope it works. Otherwise I wait until it's for rent on iTunes, and that's a long time.
I enjoy tarantino's films a butt load. So its easy to understand why I liked it so much. Also once you know he has a foot fetish it makes some of the motives behind his directorial choices obvious.

I just don't get foot fetishes. I guess gross feet would probably be a turn off, but the same could be said for hair or teeth or whatever. I don't see what is at all erotic about feet.
