This is the last Futurama that is planned as of now. Apparently Fox is considering having them do a new season of the show though.

it's called the family guy effect: if a show is offensive to some and wildly hilarious to others, it will get canned on FOX and promptly return once FOX decides the benefits of received profits will exceed the detriments of the obnoxious complaint letters
