But seriously, we dug our own grave.  Our owner is a cheap bastard and deserves a **** team.  If hockey worked like English soccer, we would have fallen to league four ages ago, as Tommy would have sold all of our good players.

I personally don't see much of a problem, especially the last month. Connolly being back has helped a lot.

The Sabres have two or three great players, and the rest seem to just want to get the **** out of Buffalo. And is there a reason Rivet is the captain? I really haven't followed Hockey too closely until this year, so maybe there is something I am missing here.

Anyway, I will remain a Buffalo Sabres fan so long as 1. I stay in the Upstate NY area and 2. Rick remains as the announcer.

I rarely have buffalo wings, sadly. I also don't live that close to Buffalo. It's like 2 hours away

Apparently a missing Crosby wasn't the problem with Pittsburgh.

Also, Buffalo do a 10-2 game against the Oilers. Cool ****.

4th to 7th place is a pretty dead heat right now. All teams are within like 3 points of eachother, and the next games are pivotal for the Sabres and the Flyers.

I hope Briere breaks his neck.
