Or it just won't get done. One of the first things I did there was compile a list of branches with sales reps VS. branches without sales reps sales records and I found that sales reps did NOTHING to boast sales at the branches, which of course I had to redo the way the data was presented to make it look as if this dude's position mattered (which statistically, it didn't).

What I'm really sad about was that it was a part-time job that offered benefits, so now I have no benefits and I probably won't find another part-time job with one. I could go for a full time position, but I always feel that new jobs are risky and I've had my other part-time job for two and a half years now where I get paid a decent amount per hour and I get free lunch out with my boss most of the time. It's a sweet job, just not one that will ever be full time.

I'm still in school. I work two jobs so I can pay for books and rent. I've been saving for tuition at a 4 year (while I finish most of the four year level courses at a cheap JC) but like, yeah, now I don't see me affording a 4 year for a while. I really don't want to do student loans and I don't think I qualify for many scholarships (grades are good but I'm not a full-time student with any spectacular extra curricular activities).

Got all A's and B's.
Here's what you should say:
Don't leave college for a crappy job at a magazine kids that goes no where then start up after a year of not being there and not know what your future plans are so you keep switching majors and never actually obtaining a degree!

that's dumb, I like mine better. Anyway, if your goal was to go to a 4 year, why did you leave for a stupid magazine job.

Because that wasn't my goal when I started - I started school at 17 with no actual clue to what I wanted to do because I never was in a position to think of college as an option for myself. My life was oriented around avoiding a beating and taking care of my younger sister. You really don't think about a future when you're just trying to survive on a day by day basis.

Really? Thinking about the future is what got me through...otherwise I would've been so depressed.
I had my little sister to think about - I've always been more focused on her future. Right now she's really throwing everything away for no good reason other than to be a giant brat. That's rather depressing thinking about what I put up with to help her.
And OZ - It was "Hi come in my office. I'm so freakin' sorry, you can go home now."
