John probably knows more than I do, but I'm almost positive you don't inherit debt. The only way that makes sense to me is if your parents are paying for things for you right now (like education/car payments/etc) that you wouldn't be able to pay for if they died.

The dollar goes a LOT farther in Central and South America than it does in Europe. This is of utmost importance when you're poor. It's actually cheaper for Jasno and I to take trips to Latin America than most places in the US because I get free airfare and he gets reduced airfare. Also, we both already have bunches of immunizations that are useful when traveling there.

That said, my dad did get Hepatitis C in Mexico one time.

they pay for my car and my car insurance. They are also considering adding me to the mortgage so that the lendor will lower their monthly payment. But I think my mom has some sort of life insurance.
