Terminator: Salvation

New trailer released.

I thought the teaser made it seem better.  This looks like it should be grouped with Reign of Fire.

It still looks like it's going to be rad.

I wonder to what extent it will honor the continuity from The Sarah Connor Chronicles, or if they'll just pull some "it's another timeline" crap.

It follows the Terminator rules for time travel, but not the Back To The Future version, or Timeruder rules which are just silly.

I'm excited. I've been watching the shows whicih have been awesome as well. The preview looks good too. WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKE THE FUTURE NOT THE FUTURE HE WAS GETTING READY FOR? I WILL PAY FOR A MOVIE TICKET TO FIND OUT!

What exactly are the "Terminator rules for time travel"? Was there some attempt to systematize the ways they are allowed to squeeze in another sequel despite judgement day supposedly being prevented at the end of each movie?

That movie was horrible. The rules of time travel are use them to cover up bad movie mistakes and make a better movie and TV series out of the correction.

It's been established in the Terminator series that time travel can create multiple timelines.

It's possible that this movie will be a continuation of the T3 timeline, which, in the Sarah Connor Chronicles timeline, no longer exists.

I'm hoping it goes with the T.V. Show and not the last movie.
