I played Dead rising for a while, and the dialog in that game is horrible, like Resident Evil 1 status horrible. And John the font still sucks on an HDTV when you have bad eyes. I'll start playing again later, probably after this weekend.

Good to know that my TV isn't entirely to blame. Most games that are text-heavy tend to have SDTVs in mind, and make the text pretty big.

Still, I think console games should have an optional "SD" mode - turn it on and everything is optimized for SD - bigger text, simpler icons, etc.

It doesn't seem like it would be difficult.

Oh, and I added you, but I'm in the library right now and can't play.
