Also, I still don't appreciate the emotionalism. It has it's place, but I have a hard time believing that is genuine.

It is incredible how 2% of a population can really influence a ballot vote that much.
Reportedly 70% of the money raised to fight for Prop 8 came from the Mormon church in California

The entire religion is creepy and doesn't belong in a civilized country. Thankfully, like any other cult, to be accepted into the culture it has had to reform itself, but the original belief system is pretty radical and out of this world.
