George Washington is still the only president to recieve 100% of the electoral vote.

In 1984, Reagan got 525 electoral votes to Mondale's 13. Modale only carried Minnesota (his home state) and D.C.

I still wouldn't qualify this as a landslide. The popular vote was a lot closer than the electoral (as is usually the case).

Neither would I. I'd say a popular vote margin of at least 10% and at least 370 electoral votes is a pretty good definition of a "landslide"

Still, Obama won by a far wider margin than Bush did in the last 2 elections, so it's a landslide compared to what we're used to.

It now appears that Obama is likely to win one of Nebraska's electoral votes. Nebraska and Maine are the only states that award their electoral votes individually based on who wins a given congressional district. In practice, however, they've always ended up awarding all their votes to one candidate.

If Obama wins the district which is mostly composed of Omaha, which looks likely, this will give him 365 electoral votes, and mark the first time that Nebraska has not awarded all of its votes to one candidate.
