I think it's one of Kevin Smith's better films, mostly because of the talents of Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks.

It's not as good as Clerks. I think it's better than Dogma (which wasn't all that great). Mallrats has Zack and Miri beat, though.

 so according to Jason Clerks 1/ Mallrats > Clerks 2 > Zack and Miri > Dogma

Clerks 2 was an embarrassment compared to the first.

The first has some of the funniest dialog in movie history.

The second was like Clerks meets every other ****ty comedy put out by hollywood.
