Tonight around 3 on AMC - The Earth VS The Spider, 1958 classic about a spider who grows to massive proportions and wreaks havoc upon the citizens of Earth!

I can't imagine a large spider would be immune to bullets of sufficient caliber. Instead of Thompson submachine guns, they should be using an M2 heavy machine gun. Let's see how a spider holds up against a .50 cal.

It should also be noted that .50 caliber bullets are pictured on the far left in this picture:
