Reducing caffeine intake

Makes quitting smoking look like a walk in the park.

I didn't realize how addicted I was until I tried to reduce my caffeine intake to 1 cup of tea in the morning (eliminating coffee and soda).

I have a horrible headache, and feel like I might puke.

caffeine is a whiny bitch to quit; however, it is much easier to kick than nicotine

Well, I didn't smoke for very long.

I've been drinking coffee since late high school. That's probably a factor.

If I go more than 3 days not getting any caffeine, I get pretty sick. I imagine it's like mini-withdrawals.

Caffeine withdrawal triggers migraines in me. It's all sorts of awful.

I've reduced my soda consumption by a lot, at first I got headaches, but not severe. I never drank coffee or tea, but lessening the amount of soda I drink has been tough.

Drink decaf coffee. It helped me kick the caffine.

Giving up soda and coffee will make you feel so much better and it'll make you feel more energetic in the long run. I'm very glad I gave up soda and coffee like five years ago. You'll be glad too once the detox is over (though I can't say I had very much of a problem with mine - I quit it cold turkey and never felt sick or had mini-shakes or anything).

I find if you drink enough water you get heaps more energy.

Last year I stopped drinking coffee for a couple months. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

Yeah, without caffeine in my life I've found that eating certain things makes me really sluggish (Mexican food, "comfort" foods for example) and certain things make me really energetic (Meats and beans and such).
