So yeah, no new season yet, but hey, yeah, this will be the last that will matter apparently. Both Braff ( J.D ) and whoever the **** plays Carla have said they are both leaving the show after season 8.
They'll be starting off another season, perhaps, with an entire new cast. And really, that just sounds dumb and absolutely horrible unless Dr. Cox remained.
Scrubs is markedly different from Family Guy, in that most of the humor follows directly from plot elements in the episode. It may sometimes cut into JD's vivid imagination at times, and that imagination is at times full of pop culture references, but there is always a relevance in the imagination sequence to the episode at large.

Exactly. If J.D cuts away with some random thought, like floating head doctor, even though it is utterly ridiculous, it fits in with J.Ds character and isn't totally separate from the plot.
I've seen several epsiodes. The fact that they re-run the same 10 episodes on Comedy central forces me to watch since its one of the few tv stations I watch.
The Janitor and Kelsoe are the only actors on that show(Cox sometimes breaks out of his mold and acts, but I swear to god if he does that annoy thing where he stretches out words one more time I'mma choke a bitch), the rest could go ahead and die in a fire.
