If his past work is any indication, it's going to start with a ton of promise, then stop going anywhere after its second season. Still, it's pretty good right now.
It's sort of like a cross between the X-Files and The Twilight Zone. It involves a misfit bunch of scientists and FBI agents investigating the paranormal. The science is pretty silly, but it's just campy enough that suspension of disbelief isn't too difficult.
I liked the season finally of lost this time around (because Penny saved the day and her man), but everything after the first season just seemed silly to me.
