Hershey bought up Scharffen Berger Chocolate in San Francisco a few years ago. It's really good chocolate, and up to now, Hershey maintained a hands-off approach.

It remained some of the best chocolate you could get in the U.S. But now, Hershey is closing all the Bay Area factories, and integrating production into their factory in Illinois, which is pretty much guaranteed to suck, or at the very least, not be nearly as good as it was.
