Also, I'm actually not sure that any public figure (if you can call her that) represents my views so well. She believes what she believes out of love, compassion, and a strong sense of fairness. I really would trust Mary Ruwart to take this country in another direction.
Didn't she bitch about pharmacy companies? I know some Libs did at their " Convention " or whatever. It's crazy how much bull**** goes on at Libertarian meetings.
However, looking at state-by-state polls, Obama appears to have a slight edge. Obama and McCain have a solid lock on 228 and 185 electoral votes, respectively. That leaves 125 electoral votes in swing states that will decide the election.
If the swing states vote in November as they're currently leaning, Obama will have 273 electoral votes (270 needed to win) to McCain's 265.
Given how close the polls currently are, and the fact that the polls in a few swing states have gone back and forth over the last few weeks, to make any unqualified prediction about the outcome of the election is idiotic.
Not much, and the bills he's probably most likely to veto might be the few good ones that the democrats have a shot at passing: reducing restrictions on abortion, etc.
Still, there's a chance that he would veto some of the worst spending bills that come out of Congress.
