I put on a good act, though. I'm sure we all sounded so horrible that nobody could know if I was playing or not.

Looking back, it must have been pretty painful for our parents to watch, but they showed up every time.

I'm sorry you had to sit through my horrible recorder recitals, mom and dad. And if you're reading this, I'm sorry that I post here.
