I "boycotted" the opening ceremonies, yeah. I never said I wasn't going to watch any of the Olympic competitions...

The opening ceremony is more about the Olympic site than the Olympic games; it was the embodiment of the Chinese propaganda machine. I'm sorry I didn't make that abundantly clear earlier.

I admire greatness; it would take a lot for me to not watch Olympians compete.

Jesus... I never claimed to be making a difference.  I was refusing to give the Chinese international voicebox my moral support.  I've watched every Olympic opening ceremony since I was old enough to know what the Olympics were; for me, that's a big deal.
