I said this in chat last night, but definitely a step down from the original which I thought was one of the best comedic movies of it's style.
I do not like stoner movies that are preachy, even if it preaches something good. It was way too heavy-handed, and lots of times they put almost 0 humor around what the one ******* of the movie was saying. It was seriously rants you'd hear in a normal movie, and it made for * Face in hands * moments. Also, I didn't like that it went away from the original concept of the first movie. The first movie was all about a small situatoin going horribly wrong. IN and of itself, that's humorous. It's something you tell to your friends later. " Dude we tried to goto White Castle and all this zany ****happened ". Now they're running from the FBI/NSA after escaping Gitmo? Come on.
Some of the best parts involved the one agent trying to convince people to talk to him by applying racial stereotypes like dumping 7 dollars in change on a table in front of the 2 Jewish guys.
Really, if you want to so it so bad you should just go. It could be worse, unless somebody gives you a wedgie and steals your glasses, then it couldn't be worse.

I don't wear glasses, take that nerddom! I reckon I'll see it on Thursday after I get this mountain of work finished. I'll let folk know I'm going, and if they want to tag along they can, but if they don't they don't. Really though, not that I'm Mr Popular or anything, but making the effort to see a film at the cinema has always seemed like a social occasion to me.
Coming up next time - Andy goes to the shop to buy some milk, and considers hoovering his room. EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT. YOU'D BE A FOOL TO MISS IT.
