I'm actually really digging this book. Sure, he emphasizes government regulation in many places, but that much is to be expected from almost anyone. The book doesn't say anything new (at least halfway through) but he compiles huge amounts of data into a compelling argument.
I was able to find this book in my phenomenally ****ty public library. It was written by one of the founders of the Skeptic Society, and essentially reads like a very long and well cited episode of Penn and Teller's Bull****.
I mean, granted, I suppose it should have been put in the food thread. But this was what I was currently reading. I concede your point, but clarify that I intentionally put it here.
