I'd....figuratively kill someone to make it available in SF, so I could be free from Comcast.
I'd commit many 'figurative' crimes for google fiber. For instance, I would 'figuratively'' cut someone's brake line before their morning commute or 'figuratively' replace awkwardsmile's advil with 'figurative' cyanide.

I assume you don't have any other option either? We are stuck with Time Warner! Every once in a while it's like, "Hey remember what 56k was like? Remember? It was fun, right?"
I grew up in a small town and our phone lines were so old and crappy that the best we could get was 14.4k, until a half-assed broadband option became available in like 2003.
Actually I know we had 56k for a while, but I don't remember what it was like. I was probably too young to go on the internet anyway. I WAS JUST SAYING THAT IT CAN BE REALLY SLOW SOMETIMES.
I remember 56k not being all that bad for normal web browsing, partly because all the webpages were primitive files with few images (and no embedded video).
