it's a lot of relatives on my dad's side that I've never met.

Also, I bet black people would have family reunions if Africa weren't so far away.

Oh, and it's way nicer than I expected it to be. The house we're staying at is right on Lake Erie, and the town looks like a Normon Rockwell painting. I'm sitting outside watching fireflies as I type this.
