It's official - Dexter is going to China in July to teach. I'll be in Qingdoa (also spelled Tsingtao) for a month and yes, this is where they make Tsingtao beer and we get to tour the brewery AND we get lots of free beer while not teaching AND AND I'm on the team that is going with the head of the English department at Cal Poly Pomona AND AND AND the teacher who is in charge of picking people for grad school for English at Cal Poly Pomona SUPER AND they both are older ladies that LOVE to party - they said they're buying us our first beers over there.
