As you probably all know, season 2 of the Walking Dead starts this sunday, and I know you guys liked that show. Personally I thought it started out really good, then it got kind of stupid, and rereading those poorly written comics PISSED ME OFF SO BAD that it made me dislike the show even more, but I'll probably watch it anyways.

BUT I DON'T WANT MY GRUMPINESS TO RUIN THE SHOW FOR ANYBODY, so feel free to discuss it here. WHATEVA.

If it helps, the show is only loosely based on the comics. It's my understanding that this becomes even clearer in the second season.

I'm looking forward to watching, but I won't be able to watch the episode on Sunday. Tragic. Don't make a show-quote thread without me.

Some guy on a podcast I listen to is going to be in some aftershow that AMC is planning for The Walking Dead.

Anyway, he saw the first 6 episodes of the season, and says they're amazing - blowing the first season right out of the water in terms of quality.

 I've heard a few ciritics say this season (at least the first few episodes) put the first season to shame.

AMC is moving on up.

First episode was alright.

It reminded me how much I hate most of the characters. They always do or say really dumb things.

I think the moral of the show is that we should all find a huge redneck and make friends with him. His bow-hunting and Indian tracking abilities will help you survive the zombies.

I hereby give up on this dumb show. Whoever John and Moris listened to that said it was WAY better than season 1 was WAY wrong.

This season has been pretty slow, and not too great. Everything that happened in the last 7 episodes could have happened in 2 or 3.

But I did like how the "missing girl" storyline was resolved, even though it took WAAAAAAAAAAY too long.

Hopefully they finally leave that stupid farm when the show comes back.

That's one of many reasons Breaking Bad is so awesome. It can be slow sometimes, but they still get shit done and don't take forever. That Jesse & Gus in Mexico business? BAM, one episode. If that happened on this show it probably would've taken 30 episodes and even LESS would've happened.

One episode, Gus plans to go to Mexico. Next episode, the plane ride to Mexico. Third episode, Gus and Jesse meet up with the cartel. Fourth episode, close up of the bottle of poison Gus will use. Fifth episode, the pouring of the poison.
