More and more reports that the animal who killed 12 people yesterday was indeed, shocker of all shockers, a Muslim and was veering towards fundamentalism.
You know, even if the guy cited Islam as his only motivation for killing those people, that still would not condemn Islam as a religion anymore than it would condemn Objectivism if I cited that as the only cause for my own massacre.
I know of know statistical analysis on the subject, but my bet is that Muslims are no more prone to murder than anyone else. They might be more prone to justifying their murder with their stupid nonsensical religion, but that's a different issue.
I think Islam was a necessary condition for this guy. Or any other suicidal doctrine. It's coming out that he was rather on-the-edge of losing it. Islam gave him the final shove.
