I was thinking about how long I've been associated with this arena of people in general. It's disgusting. What's worse is there are still people who have been here longer.
Zoom and SoldShort have been around for a while; slash was there from pretty early on as well. I'm trying to think of older posters - Count and Offbeat were there pretty early too. Riotgrrl was one of the first poster I ever talked to/met and she introduced me to count. Pumpkin met count through offbeat but that was well after the second incarnation of the board. I think John and I are the most active of the original regular posters I think. Sold and I had a debate once on who was on the board longer; he won by a day.

I think I'm successful in life, at least in an Aristotelian sense.
But yes, I have wasted a **** load of time with you folk. I sometimes wonder if it's been positive or negative. I think it has improved my typing skills, and maybe even my writing style and abilities in the field of rhetoric; however, I could have used all that time to become a better musician, or a better poet, or picked up a new hobby. Who knows?
I edited the title of this thread so that it had a question mark and lowercase letters. I didn't like the way it looked before, it was too aggressive. Now it looks much friendlier.
