That looks nothing like Obama!

I got a Chia pet for Christmas (no, I didn't ask for one). They end up looking absolutely nothing like the picture. First of all, the plants all grow straight up, so you don't get the "afro" look that's always shown on the box and in the commercials. It looks more like a crew cut or flattop. Also, the plants grow in really sporadically, and die within a few weeks, or sooner if you lose interest in watering it, as I did after a few days.

you just suck at taking care of plants

also: chia pets suck, not because they're lame in of themselves, but because you can't buy replacement seeds (at least i couldn't when i got one for xmas as a wee lad).
