I have a Brother printer/scanner and I'm having trouble installing it on my computer. It all worked fine on my old computer but I can't get the scanner to install properly.
When I put the cd in and follow the prompts to install halfway through it says to plug the machine into the usb and power point, the computer should detect this and continue.... The computer doesn't seem to realise that anything had been plugged in.... Is there some way I can give it some sort of kick start to let the pc know that it had been plugged in?
