Why are people acting like Palin was horribly underprepared for national office for not knowing Africa was a continent and not a single country, when George W. Bush IS the president, and has in the past described Africa as a country and not a continent?
Don't get me wrong, I think they BOTH should not be in national office, but it seems sort of inconsistent.
And when he was re-elected, it was by a greater margin than the first time. Americans clearly do not expect or demand that their leaders be intelligent or knowledgable.
