When I visited Australia, I was constantly amazed/terrified by the animals that live there. Even in Sydney, there were these incredibly bizarre birds hanging out on the streets and in parks, like pigeions in North America.
I don't know what they're called, but they're about the size of a large seagull, ave long necks, and these really long, thin beaks, which curl down slightly, sort of like the beak of a kiwi.
Also, at night, you'd see giant bats flying overhead. Oh, and one time there was a lizard that was like a foot long just chilling outside the front of the hotel. People walked by it like it weren't no thing.
I'm convinced that Australia is not a continent, but is actually a giant mass of spiders and other unpleasant creatures floating in the ocean.
