Winter is rolling around, and I'd like a warm jacket that's a little more stylish than the hoodies/fleece jackets I usually wear.
I see people wearing them all the time, and I really like the look.
However, I'm also aware of the fact that many people who I see wearing them are metrosexual hipster d-bags. I don't want to be grouped with them. On the other hand, I shouldn't let a bunch of douchebags dictate what I wear.
I'd need to see a picture of you wearing one. I think that they're stylish, handsome, and totally straight (ceteris parabis). I was considering getting one. I usually wear a car coat in the midst of winter.
Get a trench coat.... If someone accuses you of being a high school mass murderer just write about it in your diary, then bring a gun to school the next day and kill everyone you see.

I don't really like my pea coat that much. I have one that looks almost exactly like that (except mine has gold buttons), and I think that I look goofy in it. I love the full length overcoat version of it that I have, however.
I'd say go for it. The whole idea of 'metrosexuality' and having to be either for or against it is dumb anyway. You should just where what is practical and what you consider stylish. I'd say those kind of jackets fit that. I'm a fan of big coats in general.
