I just started smoking a bit more than usual (I used to do it every couple of months, just when I was stressed). So for the past couple weeks I've smoked maybe 3 or 4 times a week.
So I hadn't walked up my hill from college since then. In just a couple of weeks, smoking takes the wind right out of you.
Eh, I would do it if I wasn't fairly confident I would get addicted. Quite a few of my friends are 'part-time' smokers but I don't think I could pull it off. Love the smell of good cigarettes though.
Any possible pros to smoking cigarettes seem outweighed in kind by the cons. Sometimes I've entertained the idea of smoking, but I've never been able to provide myself with a compelling argument.
Also, it gives you a really nice buzz, especially the first few times.
But it's not worth it. After a week or so, the pleasure associated with smoking goes away, and you need to smoke just to avoid getting a splitting headache, and being more irritable than you've ever been in your life.
my friend was complaining that he started smoking again the other day.
he blames his boss... his boss gave him a couple of beers, which he drank on his way home, which made him decide to stop by the drive through and get a carton of beer and some smokes. hahaha
