CPU: 3.0 GHz P4, Dual Core 2.0 or AMD64X2 (or higher)
RAM: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista
DISC DRIVE: DVD-ROM Drive
HARD DRIVE: At least 7.5 GB of free space
VIDEO: Direct X 9 compatible video card (Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be a DirectX 9-compatible with support for pixel shader 2.0)

Oh yes I did. That's how I played HL2, and the subsequent episodes, and Portal.

They still looked very nice, though a PC would be my first choice.

looks have so little to do with it, I'd rather play source engine games on a crt with a mouse and keyboard than on the nicest tv in the world with a gamepad. And people who play source games on a pc and attach a 360 or PS2 controller, whatsTHEFUACK!

next month Valve will release a demo, the demo will be a short excerpt from the No Mercy section of the game (set in a hospital, ISTR) and will feature full co-op for up to four player.

System Requirements just changed, now you can't have windows 2000 but they also lowered the requirment for video cards. COME ON!!!
