Um, that's not what I originally posted...but it works. I was talking about the Terminator show.

Are you implying something about my sexuality?

I think you are.

Anyway, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an excellent show.

I was just wondering why they made a TV show better than most of the movies. Like seriously: WHY NOT USE THE GOOD STUFF ON THE BIG SCREEN?

Terminators 1 and 2 are easily on par with the show, if not better. It completely ignores the T3 continuity.

Also, because this show clearly has a much, much lower budget than any of the movies, they can't dazzle the audience with special effects (though they're certainly competent, for a weekly show on network TV), so they have to focus more on creating compelling stories and characters.

Furthermore, Terminator: Salvation is going to be so awesome it will blow your mind.

Doubtful. Was that three of four I saw on TV with John and his girlfriend running around and accidentally killing all the robots?

Terminator 4 isn't coming out for like a year.

It takes place in the early days of the machine uprising, and Christian Bale plays John Connor.

You probably saw 3 on TV. It wasn't so great. I seem to remember you defending it quite vehemently way back when, however.

I said it wasn't THAT bad, but seriously, the show is 1000000X better.

Well, yes.

A lot of things are 100000x better than Terminator 3. In fact, most things are at least that many times better.

Salvation?... It must be referring to the 3rd movie.

No. I guess he couldn't take time off as governor of California to be in a movie.

This guy is going to play a T-800 prototype. He actually played Arnold Schwarzenegger in a made for TV biopic of him, and the resemblance is pretty striking.

I heard a rumor that Schwarzenegger was on the set of T4, but that doesn't mean he'll make a cameo.

I agree, the movie looks to be all sorts of good.

He probably visited the set for fun, or something.

He's given permission for his likeness to be used in the movie, so it's possible that they might CGI him into a few scenes, like they did with Marlon Brando in Superman Returns.
